August 19t – Hibbing Public Utilities continues its ongoing Lead Investigation project to inspect and document service lines from across Hibbing’s Water System. These inspections will help HPU better understand where the lead is and better prepare projects to remove it.
Community members are encouraged to view the results of the service line inspections through the University of Minnesota’s Service Line Tracking Tool:

If you have not yet submitted information about your property’s water service line, HPU encourages you to contact us at 218-262-7700. Inspections can be performed in less than 10 minutes either by the homeowner or an HPU technician. Your participation helps ensure that our records are as accurate as possible to support ongoing project planning.
