Hibbing Public Utilities is beginning a community-wide water meter replacement project in partnership with our contractor, HydroCorp.
Letters have been sent directly to customers who will need to have this work performed. Customers must schedule an appointment with HyrdroCorp through www.watermeterinstall.com or by calling 800-315-4305 (option 1).
Appointments will require property owners to:
Provide clear access to the water meter
Ensure proper function of the water shut-off valve
Have a person 18 years of age or older present for the replacement appointment
Missed appointments will result in a rescheduling fee
