Hibbing Water Main Capital Improvement Plan
Project Status: Complete
Existing Infrastructure: 48 damages/inoperable fire hydrants.
Qualifying Factors: Fire hydrants for replacement were selected in coordination between HPU and Hibbing Fire Department based upon HFD’s emergency response needs.
Scope of Work: Direct replacement of 48 fire hydrants across City of Hibbing. Work will require localized water outages and impacted customers will be notified.
Cost: Preliminary Engineering Estimate of $1.1 million.
