Hibbing Public Utilities has a planned power outage scheduled for March 20, 2024.
The planned outage will start at approximately 9:30 a.m. and last up to 2 hours. An alternate date will be scheduled in the event of inclement weather or project delays. The alternate date would be communicated on http://www.hpuc.com or Facebook.
The planned outage will affect customers on our feeder between 5th & 8th Ave. E. from 31st St. to Howard St.’s south alley. See map below showing the general area of this outage in yellow (other areas may be impacted).
The planned outage is necessary for operation crews to work safely on and around our feeder.
