**6/10 Power Restored**

7:40 pm – Line & Turbine Room have successfully restored power to the impacted 1,500 as of 7:34 pm.

If you are still experiencing a service interruption, please contact us directly by reporting the outage through HPU’s website or calling us at 218-262-7700.

7:20 pm – Line and Plant Crews are working to return power to the impacted customers west of 1st Ave. Estimated restoral time of ~1 hour.

6:50 pm – HPU crews have identified that Feeder #4 has tripped. This feeder services everyone west of 1st Ave. Initial patrols indicate a likely cause is vegetation or a tree contacting a power line. Approximately 1,500 customers have been impacted.

Crews have also received reports of trees or vegetation on power lines near 1st Avenue and Bunker Road.

Line crews are actively patrolling the system and assessing damage.

6:10 pm – Hibbing Public Utilities is responding to reports of power outages and trees on lines as a result of inclement weather. The HPU Line Crew has been dispatched to respond to the outage.
